Chef Nash

Growing up in Hunterdon County, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by an abundance of nutrient dense produce, grains, cheeses and animals from truly Incredible Farmers in the area.

After learning my craft in high school at the local Vocational school through Hunterdon Central Regional Highschool, I studied the art of cooking at The Culinary Institute of America. From there I honed my skills at multiple restaurants in the area, catering companies and assisting other private chefs with their work.

I’ve explored different roots towards respectable Food Ways and learned how it all comes back to the seed, literally. Without the devotion of the farmer, I wouldn't be where I am today. From maintaining a healthy soil, caring of the seedlings, to the early mornings and late nights milking sheep or bringing the calves to pasture once it's done with mothers milk. Planting cover crops, bailing hay for the colder seasons and harvesting before the suns up and after the suns down is for the upmost respected wholesome souls in todays society, Our Farmers. As we thank them, it's my job to let their dedication of ingredients shine on a plate.

Whether picking up directly from the Farm, Farmers Market or Organic food at the supermarket, the ingredients always matter. I like to let the quality of ingredients speak for themselves, honing in on a couple different flavor profiles to really round out a dish and let the dish speak for itself. Utilizing different cooking techniques and having fun with local food for all to enjoy.
